Under general supervision, provides exceptional customer service, selling fare media, permits and products over-the-counter, by mail order, through a call center, and online. Responds to customer requests for transit information in person, by phone and in writing. Responds to customer lost and found inquiries. Works with vendors to distribute timetables, and other consumer and marketing materials. Responsible for maintaining internal and outlet inventory. Enters and retrieves data on sales, lost and found, and customer comments.
Two years of progressively responsible retail sales and customer service experience required. Post-secondary education in customer service, sales, merchandising, or bookkeeping may substitute for up to 18 months of experience. Must be bondable and pass credit check. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Availability to work holidays.
