The Digital UX/UI Designer will help Community Transit make travel easy for all by designing new digital experiences and improving existing ones. He/she assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by actively conducting user research and analyzing performance metrics. The UX/UI Designer develops high level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. He/she presents their work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback. The UX/UI Designer is an expert in all areas of user experience design which includes information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototype engineering, content layout and user experience.
The Digital UX/UI Designer is an active member of the Digital Scrum Team who adds business value by advocating for design solutions influenced by business and end user goals. He/she augments analytics provided by the Digital Data Analyst with user research, to generate meaningful insights that drive creative concepts. The Digital UX/UI Designer partners with the Digital Business Analyst to create clarity around business objectives through user-centered design. He/she translates business and user needs and technology constraints into solution concepts that are meaningful, easy to use, and engaging. The Digital UX/UI Designer reports to the Digital Product Owner and delivers work that’s user-friendly and aesthetically engaging which produces results.
