Under general supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty in the installation, repair and maintenance of communications tools and related electronic and communication equipment. Installs, maintains and tests various systems, detects and troubleshoots problems, documents drawing changes and upgrades, and follows and/or creates appropriate safety procedures.

INTERNAL ONLY POSTING - CURRENT EMPLOYEES ONLY Job Summary As a Lead Journey Mechanic, you will oversee the Maintenance Main Shop, in conjunction with Maintenance Management. You are responsible for assigning and prioritizing maintenance work, monitoring team activity, and ensuring all activity is in alignment with department standards and procedures.    

Term Limited - End date is 1 year from start date Works with AP/AR/GL, Payroll, and Employee Engagement (HR) to prepare and reconcile all quarterly federal, state, payroll tax payments as well as completing monthly employee benefit reconciliations.  Investigate and correct all benefit discrepancies.  Serves as a backup to our HRIS Functional Analyst for Human Capital Management (HCM) and UKG timekeeping software. Assists Payroll team as needed. Assists with annual state and federal audit requests.

Under minimal supervision a Service Ambassador will provide customers with a superior customer experience.  A Service Ambassador will greet customers, answer questions, solicit feedback and provide information about fares and all Community Transit services while on the bus, at a transit center or other similar location. They will also verify fare payment on our Swift routes and issue warnings to customers who do not pay.  The Service Ambassador works closely with all departments and helps ensure any customer issues are quickly corrected or reported for resolution. 

As a Journey Body Person, you will perform major and minor structure repairs on various types of transit and support vehicles, both at the Operations Base and in the field during various shifts. This is a full-time safety-sensitive position, subject to Federal Transit Authority (FTA) rules. Pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing are mandatory.

As the Assistant Manager of Analytics, you will lead a team of analysts that use data to identify, calculate, and communicate key performance indicators, trends, forecasts, and business opportunities. You will be responsible for successfully executing daily operations, providing quality assurance controls, and maintaining the team’s excellent level of service to both internal and external clients.

As an Assistant Manager of Vehicle Maintenance, you will have the responsibility and authority for decision making and control of daily operations in assigned areas of the Vehicle Maintenance Division. You will also work in tandem with peer Vehicle Maintenance Assistant Manager(s) to ensure adequate team support across the division. This includes supervising repairs, conducting performance reviews, and creating work schedules, among other work.

Under the general guidance, the Transit Security Officers (TSO’s) in Community Transit’s Office of Physical Security Services (OPSS) provides security services twenty-four hours per day, three hundred and sixty-five days a year, for employees, contractors, customers, and visitors.  Primarily working in the Security Operations Center (SOC) and on Community Transit property, vehicles, and throughout the service area.  TSO’s, with the support of the Transit Police Unit (TPU), the Social Worker Program and customer service positions across the agency, help provide a safe and secure environment.  TSO’s handle complex interactions using their most important tools of interpersonal communication, verbal de-escalation, customer service, conflict resolution and incident assessment.  This includes providing uniformed and undercover services in a calm, respectful, trauma informed, ethical, and diplomatic manner.  TSO’s work with a diverse group of individuals and must apply an equity and culturally appropriate approach to their work.    As authorized by Community Transit, may be required to wear, carry, and utilize defensive equipment, communication equipment, audio / video recording equipment, ballistic vests, flashlight, PPE, and similar security equipment while on duty.
