Community Transit is seeking a credible, communications professional who is deeply committed to the success of the agency and is a strategic, big-picture thinker. The new Chief Communications Officer will be a collaborator who brings knowledge of multiple communication channels and genres and is committed to understanding the mission and culture of Community Transit and is able to articulate it in creative and meaningful ways. The CCO will have the capacity to be a thought leader in elevating Community Transit’s ability to communicate its strengths and take a proactive approach to communication. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated experience in media relations, crisis management, marketing and integrated, interdisciplinary communications strategy and implementation.
