The Marketing Program Strategist (Employer) is a key member of Community Transit’s marketing team. The successful candidate will:
Growing Community Transit’s network of partners and advocates is key to success in this role. The position requires skill in client relationship management and consultative sales.
The Marketing Program Strategist (Employer) leads the success and growth of marketing programs targeting employers and businesses, including:
1. Use business development and relationship-building tactics to grow programs:
2. Create program content that is relevant, engaging, and aligned with requirements:
3. Strategic program ownership, planning, and development:
4. Represent Community Transit in professional and interagency settings:
5. Conduct reporting, and analysis:
6. Support marketing and agency initiatives:
Minimum Qualifications
1. 5 years of professional experience related or similar to one or more of the following areas:
2. Verbal and written communication ability, adaptable to a wide range of audiences.
3. Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management tools.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree related or similar to one of the following disciplines:
2. 8 years of direct, relevant, and successful professional experience related or similar to one or more of the following areas:
3. Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale marketing and/or sales programs.
4. Experience in content strategy, editorial planning, and content development
5. Experience planning and producing mid-scale event plans and events.
6. Advanced Microsoft Excel, capable of manipulating data to perform analysis and reporting.
7. Conversational fluency in one or more of Community Transit’s Title VI primary or secondary languages:
8. Experience, familiarity, and comfort with using and encouraging people to use public transportation.
