As a Facilities Maintenance Tech I, you will perform a variety of manual labor and semi-skilled tasks using power and hand tools, power washing equipment, and other tools to complete assigned tasks. Work is on commercial transit building components, bus stops, shelters, and park-and-ride properties. You will perform maintenance, repairs and assembly, cleaning and janitorial duties, and grounds maintenance. Work is often physical in nature, performed primarily outdoors, and often next to high-volume, high-speed traffic that may require standing for extended periods of time. May also work at elevated heights.
1. Safely perform physical labor and routine maintenance tasks as assigned, including, but not limited to:
Painting
2. Manage and maintain work order information in CMMS software through accurate data entry.
3. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

Working Conditions |
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, on lifts and ladders, and in shops with high noise levels, oil, grease, and other chemicals. You must also be able to work in various traffic situations. You will need to operate maintenance tools and equipment, and standard office equipment and keyboards. You will be required to move throughout and between different Maintenance shop buildings. Work requires you to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb ladders, work at heights above 30 feet, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Lifting more than 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally is required.
