As a Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will direct, prioritize, and oversee the daily activities of Facilities Maintenance Technicians as assigned.  Your duties may also include coordinating the work of third-party contractors, vendors, or suppliers as directed by the Manager or Assistant Manager. This is a “Working Lead” position, which involves leading or assisting with completing work related to assigned projects or work orders.

As Compensation Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the agency’s classification and compensation programs, ensuring internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with applicable regulations.  You will research market data, conduct and respond to salary surveys.  You will maintain job descriptions, conduct position classifications, and develop job ladders.  You will also assess pay offers, benchmark internal pay practices, and analyze fringe benefits to support fair and transparent compensation practices.

As a Mechanic Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, qualified mechanics, and instructors to learn and demonstrate knowledge and skills in vehicle maintenance.  This includes diagnosing malfunctions, preventative maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various types of transit equipment in the maintenance shop and in the field.  The Mechanic Apprentice program is governed by the Standards of Apprenticeship adopted by the Community Transit/IAM Apprenticeship Committee.

As a Senior Capital Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing assigned Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and other capital projects to deliver specified requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.  The BRT program includes planning and construction of multimillion-dollar transit infrastructure projects such as transit centers and stations, park and ride facilities, operating/maintenance bases, as well as new initiatives such as bus rapid transit and transit-oriented development.

As a Senior IT Analyst, you will use your subject matter expertise to serve as a technical lead to the team responsible for Community Transit’s ongoing systems administration and day-to-day operations of business technology systems, as well as the delivery and support of Community Transit’s mid-tier and end-point technical infrastructure, including PeopleSoft platforms.  You will resolve complex technology issues and suggest and support process improvements for the IT team and the agency.  You are expected to self-manage, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks under little to no supervision.
