Minimum Qualifications
- 8years of increasingly responsible experience in graphic design, brand oversight, and creative development.  An associate degree in Graphic Design or a related field may account for 1.5 years of experience.  A bachelor’s degree in a closely related field will count for 3 years of experience.  A master’s degree in a related field may substitute for 4 years of experience. 
- 3 years of direct experience supervising a team.
- 4 years of creative project management experience, including overseeing overlapping projects and competing priorities, managing resources, and delegating responsibilities.
An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties is also accepted.
 
Knowledge Requirements
- Creative concept, design, and copywriting best practices.
- Marketing and communications concepts, practices, techniques, and tools.
- Print industry proofing methods and different printing techniques.
- Production techniques and best practices for web, video, audio, radio, and television.
- Supervisory concepts, team dynamics, and best practices for managing contractors and vendors.
- Project management.
- Concepts and techniques for preparing and presenting written and oral information.
- Customer service best practices.
- Methods and techniques of data collection, research, and report preparation.
- Office procedures, methods, and equipment, including computers and software applications.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- 10 years of creative and brand experience in an advertising agency or in-house corporate environment.
- 5 years of experience supervising a team.
- Experience in promotional writing, storyboarding, scriptwriting, video, and audio production.
- Experience at a public agency or within the transit industry
 
Working Conditions
 
Hybrid telework may be available.  Availability is at management discretion and may not be available for this position based on the nature of the work.  Work is performed in an office environment and requires the use of office equipment and technology.  You will be required to move throughout and between different office buildings and may need to complete tasks in noisy environments.  You may also be required to lift and carry materials up to 10 pounds occasionally.
