Community Transit is seeking an experienced IT Analyst II to support the enterprise systems that power our agency’s operations and workforce.

In this role, you’ll manage the health and performance of both on-premises and SaaS applications supporting HR, finance, workforce management, and transit operations. Essential Duties

Job Duties

  • Provide technical support for complex issues, including problem identification, investigation, and resolution for all customer facing technologies.
  • Inform the design, build, implementation, and maintenance of complex infrastructures. Perform complex system audits and ensure systems are functioning as expected. Inform and participate in the preparation and maintenance of architecture and design configuration and ensure documentation is updated accordingly, as directed.
  • Manage and oversee data being transferred to-and-from business systems. Analyze and troubleshoot anomalies or detected technology related events and ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Monitor information technology, including systems, applications, and infrastructure for performance and reliability in relation to established service level agreements. Develop and monitor service levels and delivery results and identify and implement changes necessary to meet business needs.
  • Create complex reports, presentations, and documentation. Develop meeting agendas and lead meeting discussions. Capture and track actionable items to completion.
  • Maintain communications between internal and external customers and vendors in support of technology systems.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience working in Information Technology troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware, software, and network problems (a Bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for 4 years of experience)
  • 2 years of experience providing full system support on complex customer facing technology
  • 6 years of experience administering networks or systems
  • 6 years of experience in an IT support role interfacing daily with end users in person, over the phone, and via email
  • 6 years of experience with Windows configuration, repair, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours to support critical systems and transit applications, as required

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties is also accepted.

Working Conditions

Position is NOT open to remote work. Employees must reside within commuting distance to Community Transit Offices. Hybrid telework is available with a minimum requirement of 2 days per week onsite. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the use of office equipment and technology. You will be required to move throughout and between different office buildings and may need to complete tasks in noisy environments. You may also be required to lift and carry materials up to 10 pounds occasionally.
