Under minimal supervision a Service Ambassador will provide customers with a superior customer experience. A Service Ambassador will greet customers, answer questions, solicit feedback and provide information about fares and all Community Transit services while on the bus, at a transit center or other similar location. They will also verify fare payment on our Swift routes and issue warnings to customers who do not pay. The Service Ambassador works closely with all departments and helps ensure any customer issues are quickly corrected or reported for resolution.
The Journey Body Person position performs major and minor structure repairs on various types of transit and support vehicles, either at the Operations Base or in the field on various shifts. This is a full-time safety-sensitive position and will be subject to Federal Transit Authority rules governing safety sensitive employees which includes, but is not limited to, passing a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing. This position will report to the Lead Body Person.

The Safety Analyst is an experienced professional, fully functional in all aspects of the industry/technical field. This role performs duties under general supervision of the Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety, but functions in a primarily independent manner while supporting assigned projects or program areas. The Safety Analyst assists in all aspects of the agency’s Safety Management System (SMS), including the development and implementation of safety and health programs and projects in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations; audits and oversight of all SMS elements and serving as the subject matter expert, as needed, for agency meetings, training, and other interdepartmental interactions. Examples of such programs include:
- Safety Management System including all State and Federally required safety programs
- FTA required Agency Safety Plan
- Safety Committee
- Other programs as assigned by the Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety
