As a Project Assistant, you will provide project and program support under the direction of a manager or senior manager.  You will assist in project development, concept definition, procurement, implementation, and close-out.  Duties will include research, planning, developing schedules, reporting on status, coordinating activities, tracking budgets and expenditures, and managing documentation and communication plans.  Specific roles will vary by project or program.  You may be assigned to lead one or more elements of a larger project or lead a smaller project under the direction of a supervisor or manager.

As a Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will direct, prioritize, and oversee the daily activities of Facilities Maintenance Technicians as assigned.  Your duties may also include coordinating the work of third-party contractors, vendors, or suppliers as directed by the Manager or Assistant Manager. This is a “Working Lead” position, which involves leading or assisting with completing work related to assigned projects or work orders.

As a Mechanic Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, qualified mechanics, and instructors to learn and demonstrate knowledge and skills in vehicle maintenance.  This includes diagnosing malfunctions, preventative maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various types of transit equipment in the maintenance shop and in the field.  The Mechanic Apprentice program is governed by the Standards of Apprenticeship adopted by the Community Transit/IAM Apprenticeship Committee.

This position is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel coaches and other various support vehicles operated by Community Transit in the field or at the Operations Base.   The Vehicle Maintenance department operates three shifts (day, swing and graveyard), seven days a week. As a Senior IT Analyst, you will use your subject matter expertise to serve as a technical lead to the team responsible for Community Transit’s ongoing systems administration and day-to-day operations of business technology systems, as well as the delivery and support of Community Transit’s mid-tier and end-point technical infrastructure, including PeopleSoft platforms.  You will resolve complex technology issues and suggest and support process improvements for the IT team and the agency.  You are expected to self-manage, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks under little to no supervision.
