As Manager - Transit Integration, you will develop and facilitate strategic institutional relationships with Sound Transit, Washington State Department of Transportation, the City of Seattle, King County Metro, Pierce Transit, Everett Transit, Washington State Ferries, Snohomish County, and multiple cities within Snohomish County. As a Facilities Maintenance Tech I, you will perform a variety of manual labor and semi-skilled tasks using power and hand tools, power washing equipment, and other tools to complete assigned tasks. Work is on commercial transit building components, bus stops, shelters, and park-and-ride properties. You will perform maintenance, repairs and assembly, cleaning and janitorial duties, and grounds maintenance. Work is often physical in nature, performed primarily outdoors, and often next to high-volume, high-speed traffic that may require standing for extended periods of time. May also work at elevated heights.
As a Journey Parts Person, you will locate, purchase, record, and dispense parts and services to maintenance employees. You will ascertain best-value purchases and assist with contract administration. You will work to establish a reliable vendor base and assure compliance with OEM safety-sensitive specifications. As a Senior Accountant, you will perform various accounting duties to support preparation of the agency’s financial statements, quarterly financial reports, annual budget, grant reporting, and other internal and regulatory reporting. You will recommend procedural or systems changes based on governmental accounting requirements and applicable tax laws.
